Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Class is a twenty-six asana series designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons, in the order in which they should be stretched.
Bikram Yoga’s twenty-six posture exercises systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body, to each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to healthy working order, just as Nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically follow.

If you’re new to Bikram Yoga, this is an opportunity to discover amazing things about yourself and your abilities. If you already have a regular practice, the Challenge will be an opportunity to take your practice to a profoundly deeper level.

The guidelines ~ 30 classes in 30 days, 60 classes in 60 days. “Do this yoga for 60 days, it will transform your life.” If you miss a class, you can take a double, two classes in one day, to make up for it. Within the 30 days, you can miss four days, and take four doubles.
The rewards ~ The best reward is the personal achievement and benefits you’ll receive. As an additional incentive, complete 30 classes in 30 days and you’ll receive your next month or 10 class card for $70 … keep going, complete 60 classes in 60 days, receive your next month or 10 class card for FREE. A regular, consistent yoga practice builds strength, stamina, flexibility, balance and coordination. Mentally, it builds focus, concentration, determination, self-awareness and patience. Keiki Yoga with Ms. Darcie
Wednesdays 1-2 pm
Keiki Yoga integrates yoga asana or stretching and strengthening postures with a mindfullness curiculum developed by Darcie Peck, E-RYT 500 and certified Bikram Yoga Instructor. These class sessions are designed to increase children’s self-esteem, awareness, coordination, patience and concentration. Children will learn how to warm up their bodies properly with exercises that emphasize breath work, flexibility and strength. They will experience many different yoga styles and movements that will further self-expression and creativity and we will be using meditation in movement props (flow arts) such as poi balls, hula hoops and fun yogic games to challenge the mind and body.
